Merchandising is any practice which contributes to the sale of products to a retail consumer. At a retail in-store level, merchandising refers to displaying products that are for sale in a creative way that entices customers to purchase more items or products.
Salient Features
Image Capture and Advertising
Merchandiser can take pictures at the customer location. For a visit we can have unto five images. These can be used for various cases. Introduction of new products or schemes can be done using the Advertising module.
Assets & Planogram
Company owned point of sale (POS) equipment’s placed at customer location can be tracked and maintained in the system. POS tracking is used to support sales and merchandising of products. Planograms are images that shows how and where specific products should be placed on retail shelves or displays in order to increase customer purchases.
Customer & Price Survey
A method for collecting quantitative information from customer regarding any topic that will benefit the company’s business. Option to track the customer selling price or promotion can be noted with the pricing survey section.
Distribution Check list & Item Complaints
Option to track the items and quantity with expiry dates at the customer’s location is available. Customer feedback or complaints regarding any product can be noted with the Item complaints section.
